About Our Staff

Dayla Brown, MSW

Since 1999, I have provided behavioral support to children and their families within the non-profit and public educational setting. I am currently a Supervisee In Social Work and received a Master of Social Work degree from Virginia Commonwealth University. I have clinical experience supporting clients in the areas of life adjustment, self-harm, interpersonal relationship difficulties, anger management, depression, anxiety, family challenges, conflict and stress management and self-esteem challenges.

I believe that every individual has the ability to identify long-term positive coping skills and improve their lives as they achieve personal goals. I offer a safe, supportive, non-judgmental environment where individuals can process through life's difficult moments. My approach is person centered, strengths-based, and culturally responsive, including solution-focused, cognitive behavioral, psychodynamic therapies. I primarily work with adults 18+ years providing individual counseling and therapy. I also provide premarital counseling from a Christian perspective.

Through a client-centered approach, I partner with individuals to support self-discovery, promote healing, and encourage personal development. I am committed to fostering a caring and compassionate environment where every person can explore their potential, develop resilience, and achieve their personal goals.
